Our Story

Growing up as a kid, I always knew that I wanted to be a hairstylist like my granny and my great aunt. I loved going to "the shop" and watching them work their magic on their clients' hair, and seeing how they marveled over their new look! The craziest thing is that God BLESSED me with the same hairstyling talent! I've been transforming heads since the 7th grade. In 2005, I actually became a professional hairstylist, and my world completely changed.

I've been in the hair industry for over 15 years, and have learned that my line of work went beyond styling hair. It required me to be patient, kind, a counselor, a good listener, and to be the hair problem solver for my clients. One question that I always get after transforming my clients hair is "what do I need to do to maintain my hairstyle?" My answer, jokingly, would be, "I just do your hair." I soon realized that my clients really did look at me as their hair problem solver. Therefore, I needed to figure out an effective way to solve their hair dilemmas. After researching and documenting what I have learned over the years, the idea of ProtectiveBeauty was born. 

 ProtectiveBeauty is a brand to help women identify the best ways to preserve their beauty by using innovative products like our Satin Beauty Saver Pillow! Through ProtectiveBeauty, our goal is to support, empower, and educate women on protecting their beauty. My desire for ProtectiveBeauty is to be the one place you can come to for ALL your beauty needs!
